The East Lake Eagle Rays of Yorba Linda and the Swim Team of Placentia have formed a cooperation to ensure the continued prosperity of both teams.  Although, both teams have their own parent leadership, coaches, programs, and are run as two completely seperate teams, they share a common philosophy and are directed by the same Executive Director, Devon Ames.
EAGLE RAYS AQUATICS
The Eagle Rays Aquatics offers a variety of aquatic programs for all ages and ability levels. We offer a “learn to swim” program, recreational swimming, competitive swimming. These programs are conducted in a fun and friendly atmosphere, designed to teach self-discipline, sportsmanship, self-esteem and promote fitness.
EAGLE RAYS TEAM PHILOSOPHY
We emphasize competition with oneself. Winning ribbons, medals, or trophies is not our main goal. The individual’s improvement is our primary objective.  Sportsmanlike behavior is as important as improved performance. We teach swimmers how to be gracious in both victory and defeat. Respect for officials, congratulations to fellow competitors, encouragement of teammates, determined effort, and mature attitudes are examples of behaviors encouraged by our coach.
