WHO CAN BE A PART OF THE TEAM?
The swim team is for any potential swimmer between the ages of 4 - 18. The team has a variety of programs and groups to meet the needs of all ability levels. If it is determined that the athlete is "water-safe," confident in the water, and is able to move them self across the pool, then they are ready for the team. Swimmers do not need to know the mechanics of the strokes, these skills will be taught to them.
HOW DO I START?
Start by e-mail Coach Devon. It is best to give the age and general ability of your swimmer. Coach Devon will respond with more specific information as to how to register and when you can go to the pool for an evaluation.
On your first day, swimmers should bring goggles and be prepared to get in and practice with other swimmers. All new swimmers initially try-out at 4:15. Coaches will work with the swimmers to help them learn and understand how practices are run. During this first day, coaches will evaluate the swimmer to decide which group will be the best fit. All swimmers are placed into groups based on their age and ability level.
HOW LONG DO I GET TO DECIDE?
When an athlete starts, we will collect the forms and the SCS Registration check. However, once you start, you have a week to decide if you would like to continue. If so, we then will process your payments. If after a week you decide that the swim team is not for you, you will receive a full refund of your payments.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
